Not true. We still have Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Ozzy and Iommi, everyone in Megadeth and Metallica (with the exception of Cliff. RIP Cliff), Marilyn Manson is still making music (whether or not it's any good is subjective).
There's hope yet. Maybe.
