from personal experience,
I have three results when talking infront of other boys about boys I like. None of which I don't know their listening.
1- there friends with the crush and I want them to tell him
2- I want a particular boy in the group that's listening to be jealous because in reality I actually like him
3- and yes sometimes I just don't care :)
