As far as I know, that was an original quote by a friend who has been through two divorces. At least he can laugh about it years later :)

Yep, been through two. Last one (Jewish) emptied the bank accounts even though I said I didn't want anything except the puppy we just bought together. On top of that her parents are rich. Cost me 5k in attorney fees to fight for the dog. I got him but that was all. For me, it was well worth it.
