Pelts used for clothing and trim do usually come from animals raised for that purpose. Mink, fox, ermine are just a few. I do not wear animal pelt clothing, however I eat meat and use leather so I don't condemn those who wear rabbit coats or mink lined gloves. It's a tricky issue.

I don't condemn either, just playing devils advocate. Thank you both for letting me know that none are hunted to extinction.
