Not all. I have friends who are far more conservative than me. I respect them because at least they'll listen to the other side instead of merely reacting and will offer reasoned debate instead of spewing bile. I consider them intelligent conservatives, and although I don't buy into their beliefs and values I do enjoy a good debate with them. By 'committed' I mean someone who gives no leeway to those who oppose them. There are committed leftists. I usually turn and walk the other way when I see those coming.
