You get 40 points for each upvote on a meme (such as the upvote I just gave you on this one). As far as I know, you don't get any points for people commenting on your meme.
It's hard to know how many users there are on imgflip. If we said there are 10,000 users (I think that's a high estimate), and they all upvoted this meme (which would be around 20 times the amount of the highest number of upvotes I've ever seen on any meme on this site), that would still only give you 400,000 points.
Since you have around 35,000 points now, that would be enough to get you on the leaderboard (and almost into the top 20), but not enough to pass us.
