If you think they are then I guess you could ask: Why are believers so obsessed with the all of them as well? And even more so with the one they believe is real?

I think you are confusing "obsession" with concern. They are "concerned" about God because those (in power) that believe in him/her/it use their belief to make decisions that effect atheists.

If there were people in power that worshipped the Lucky Charms leprechaun and based decisions that could affect you personally, wouldn't you be concerned?

Atheists are obsessed about Gods they don't believe in because that's all they talk about, to the point of boring all in earshot to death. It's almost as bad as being around vegans, who talk incessantly about guess what? Not eating meat. Get a life. Grow up. And shut up about stuff you "have no interest in".
