And now the 7 day record is just under 170,000 points...Back when it was 70,000, I think it was due to less traffic and also...I believe back then the commenting was different too wasn't it?

When you commented on someone's comment, you had to put @raydog so the user knew who you were talking to. And since the site started late 2011 and I joined February 2013 I'm sure there wasn't as much traffic back then. Memes did really well with over 100 upvotes. Now you can get over 300 upvotes.

Yeah, and I see some of the older users complain about how it used to be. I don't really care. I just make memes. Back in the day it was more difficult to make original templates and such, so I think it's improved quite a bit.

Yeah, some of them do like to complain about the "good ole days"...the way I see it, Imgflip is evolving and changing, and for better or worse, you either evolve and change with it or get left behind...the old days are gone, nothing to be done about that but renew yourself or remain a relic of the past...not trying to sound like an asshole, but that's just the cold hard facts.

Ok it was for a month (not 2-3 days) but that's pretty close to the truth. I passed Entertainer28, then Raydog passed me.

During the times that Raydog is higher on the weekly leaderboard than me, I'm not catching up to his all-time leaderboard spot. He's increasing the distance. It's all about the math. :)

I think Invicta103 is eventually gonna pass both of us...

Just depends on how many upvotes/views your memes get
