That's my point. Most are. Why expect the Kermit vs Connery ones not to be?

This probably makes it sound like I'm being disparaging towards memes (like they're all boring), but that wasn't what I was trying to say (although a lot of memes are recycled).

With every form of entertainment (books, music, movies, TV, video games, etc) it seems like 80% of it is pretty boring, and 20% of it is good enough to make the rest of it worth it. That's what I meant - I think the Kermit vs Connery memes are in the same category. A lot of them don't stand out, but there is that 20% or so that are really good.

When I made this meme, I was only thinking about Jim Henson as to why "Kermit is dead".
