How come (if you don't mind the question)?

If you're asking why I don't always pray, that's because I'm not one to bend my knee more than I need to.

If you're asking why my prayers are less self-involved than some others, as a child I grew up in a poorer, yet stable household. My father taught me that I shouldn't expect the gods to do for me what they and I know I can do for myself. I've kept this in my heart my entire life, and only pray for the safe keeping of others and to give thanks for everything I have. (Then I sail across a rainbow on a unicorn while playing moonlight sonata on a keytar, and other happy things, I guess lol)
