I meant flush the toilet and throw away the kotex - and actually, tampons can be flushed. It says so on the box. I've done it many times and it never clogged my toilet. Kotex need to be thrown in the trash.

NEVER FLUSH A PAD OR TAMPON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unless you like toilet water all over your house and plumbers butt.
RULES FOR THE LADIES ROOM; 1. IF YOU FEEL THE NEED TO HOVER OVER THE TOILET, CLEAN UP THE PEE YOU SPLASH ON THE SEAT! 2. IF YOU PUT TOILET PAPER ON THE SEAT, THROW IT IN THE TRASH OR FLUSH IT! 3. FLUSH IT AND THROW AWAY YOUR BLOODY KOTEX - WE DON'T WANT TO SEE IT! 4. IT MAY NOT BE CLEAN BUT LEAVE IT AT LEAST AS CLEAN AS IT WAS WHEN YOU CAME FOR THE NEXT PERSON
