hmmm...looks like I need to figure out a better time to submit. Seems my memes get lost in the way-back pages. Thought this one would get a little further than 17 views and 2 upvotes. Oh well, that's meme-ing for you...:)

Honestly, I think people are sick of memes about me....LOL

...and yet you are still put you up here! LOL I meant it only as compliment :) I do appreciate your humility because not too many people know how to be humble. This site seems to have more than it's fair share of decent people.

I like to think so...I wish I had time to respond to each and every one of the people that comment on my memes and get to know them all, but I just don't...but I try...There are definitely more decent people than dickheads that I can see, but there's always got to be assholes that stir the pot so it doesn't get boring I guess...I try never to be mean to anyone except when they spam....that I don't like and I guess that's pretty much Starflightthenightwing's fault...as for being put on a pedestal...I still don't get that one...LOL

I think I was an unintentional dickhead with a comment (political...I see why you stay away from them) because that person's comment to me was unreadable along with another guy's comment. Mods must've blocked them. Star-wing is young and will hopefully grow up & out of his personal-journey dragon-phase & spamming. From my POV, the pedestal you've been thrust atop is because of your popularity / notoriety / famous status. Your memes are creative with 1) Focus, 2) Wit, and 3) Polish. You are revered. But to those who know you better, and from your comments I read to other people, you're a regular guy who enjoys his hobby of making memes.

Thanks for that Bro...I do enjoy making memes as well as making people laugh... unfortunately, what makes some people laugh, will inevitably offend others, so you can never make everyone happy...and of course, with popularity, comes the haters and people that are jealous because they want to be where you are...In any case, I just do what I do and whatever happens happpens...thanks man.

It seems like they release another batch of memes every hour, on the hour, and I believe they order memes in the Latest stream in order based on when they are generated (not on when they are submitted). So it makes sense to submit a meme pretty close to when you make it. If you are thinking of submitting a meme that you made a while back (e.g. a meme comment on someone else's meme, or something you never got around to submitting), then it makes sense to remake it before submitting it so it doesn't come out on the very bottom of the batch.

When I can, I try to make my memes around the 45 or 50 minute mark, in the hopes that that will help them be nearer to the top of the pile. Of course, if it's a new image you're uploading to imgflip for a meme, all bets are off - those sometimes take hours and hours to come out and you don't know where they'll be. At least I don't.

Thank you for the comment, and no! I don't mind at all!! I remember you mentioning timing the meme to release-time, but I never got your formula (and; I spaced it out....).

This is very helpful! It will be a fun exercise to test and see where things pop out (yes, I'm a science guy). Raydog mentioned his 'originals' take up to 8 hours to post...now I have the best of two worlds, and I hope you find his theory helpful too.

When you make your memes at the 45-50 minute mark, what time are you submitting? That is, 8 am? 11 am? 5 pm?

That varies, depending when I log on.

But I have this idea in my head that either having it release about 7-9am (so people look at it before they go to school or to work, or might click on it throughout the day during breaks), or 2pm-9pm or so to catch the after-school rush and high-traffic evening times would be the best bet. I don't know whether that idea is actually true or not, but I would probably generally try to avoid my memes coming out at 3am, for example.

And the timezone I use as a reference is EST.

Alas my problem...I submit my memes from 12am-3am (CST).

I like your theory. When I have memes to submit and I think of them late-night/early-morning, I will stick-draw them with captions. Then submit according to your timelines. Thanks for the help! (see above meme for credit) LOL.

I don't know if it makes a huge difference or not... just my thoughts. I'll be curious to know if doing that makes a difference.
