I've heard that one before ... I was told my health insurance would drop $2500/yr. Instead it went up $3500/yr and the deductible went from $1000 to $7500 and the amount I had to spend personally to get tax deduction has gone way up.

Prior to the disaster of Obamacare, my family was extremely well covered and my daughter (who has a genetic condition) was well taken care of. Post Obamacare, I'm out over ten thousand dollars each year. You truly, TRULY don't have any clue.

What state? Maybe your stste has something to do with it. Also- I would love to see the actual coverages from your old plan to new. I will BET its not the "Same EXACT plan" although big increases were seen in some cases.

These changes are from the insurance companies themselves. Shop around. There are plenty of options. Or are you in one of those states that didn't want to participate?

I'll lay it out:
PRE Obamacare BCBS insurance for my family of five = $7,591.12 with a $1,000 deductible.
POST Obamacare my BCBS insurance (same exact plan) = $12,488.98 with a $7,500 deductible and my daughter's medications suddenly are no longer included in the preferred medications list. Same EXACT plan. And we had to change doctors to one that my daughter hates going to.

YOUR guy said my premiums would decrease $2500. YOUR guy said we wouldn't have to change doctors. YOUR guy said we wouldn't have to change plans to get the same coverage. Obama was a liar plain and simple. Provided the Cornhusker Kickback to Senator Nelson and the Louisiana Purchase to Senator Mary Landreau. Obamacare is an unmitigated disaster.

Exactly...obamacare is a disaster, we need to return to private health care, Trump's health care plan involves competition between insurance companies in each state which would drive costs down while maintaining a good level of benefits.
