like why tf is there so much tv shows that looks kid friendly?

I'm just confused as to why there are so many TV shows/movies/videogames that look kid-friendly but are not, stuff like: Don't Hug Me I'm Scared, Happy Tree Friends, Drawn Together, Sausage Party, Doki Doki Literature Club, Rick and Morty, Family Guy, The Simpsons, cult of the Lamb, Omori, and FNAF

Like, are we actively trying to traumatise kids?

I agree, if parents think that their child(ren) are watching an animated cartoon that they think is perfectly fine just because its animated, i think they really should start a parenting course in college. You are supposed to watch a few episodes with them and decide if its kid friendly. There are some really dark jokes, inappropriate scenes, and racism in some of them.
