They are very springy

My female kitty did that once when I tried to pet her. She was sitting on the coffee table with her head down licking her paw. I reached over to touch the top of her head and she shot backwards like the cat in the gif. Like she had a rope and harness tied to her and was yanked back as hard as possible! 🙀

The joy of pet ownership ! 😄

My dogs were somewhat weary about kittens as well 🐶

And rightly so. They’re like the killer bunny in “Monty Python and The Holy Grail”. Cute and cuddly upon first sight, but vicious and deadly when attacked! 😼

The Holy Hand Grenade was the only solution !

That’s right! Thankfully it was in the arsenal of the knights. Thankfully, a bowl of treats makes for a good substitute for The Holy Hand Grenade to distract them from their vicious ways. And an occasional head and belly rub.
