Bit of a rant here but:
You accuse top users of making identical memes but like, you don’t make an original meme yourself??? Like, if you’re so mad that our put-in effort memes are receiving ups, just say so??? I’m not even mad as well but upvote begging is just sad asf. I see way too many memes about flick7, supercell, Aldebaran, meme lord, and now even me. And I’m just looking at all of them disappointed at the ideas that this community puts out. Don’t start crying when your memes aren’t in the front page, just put effort.

Like yeah, I actually really raise my standards for what I put in the fun stream
Even if I watch a Vaazk or Memenade video for inspiration, it's take like 50 memes for me to find one I consider good enough

Tips for you bunch of whining swaths:
Plug memes : through mc, use your followers.
Post in several streams: there’s way more streams that give a lot of points, get followers there and return.
Don’t whine: you just look pathetic.

It takes work guys. I didnt hit 1M pts until early 2024. I started late 2022.
You know how I am where I am today? I put effort in. Me and Flick7 joined a couple months apart (with him joining first) and theres a 3.9M point difference between us, and he didnt even post for like 2 of the years. Imaging where hed be if he was posting daily for 4 years straight.
If you're a new user, like M.I.G said in her comment, post in multiple streams, and find people to memeplug with.

plus, back when i joined it wasn't as easy to get big, it still isn't but its easier now than back in 2022 when I joined. You'd see memes in the front page with like 800+ upvotes, and the most you see now it like 150.
The big users would post, get more points, grow even bigger, and the little users would need to do way more just to get noticed, but that's now really how it works now. I see a new user on the front page that i've never seen before like at least once a week

Part of my success does link back to early 2023 when I first started talking with Caleb (unfortunately no longer active), who I would plug with. Once you got a big user to comment on your meme, it was basically a guarantee that at least 60 people upvote. Bro, I posted a meme a couple months about flick7 slop and you probably remember it, but people thought i was hating on flick instead of my actual intention which was making fun of the people who glaze him. I made the situation worse but now, i see SO many begging posts on the front page, i post one when i have a big event or sum, but these kids post them almost every meme. Also, you dont have to only ride flicks dick there are other users that give the same amount of work but get NO attention. It pisses me off that some newer users have their best meme at like 90 upvotes and it’s UPVOTE BEGGING while their second best is at like 10. People in imgflip may be idiots becuase they actually UPVOTE the begging, occasionally, its ok, but i see it EVERYDAY.

This trend is actually quite similar to the "I hate 67" memes that plagued the front page last year. It's not as glaringly obvious upvote farming, but it is just as lazy.
