God always knew everything.
A rock from space did not end the dinosaurs.

Birds are not dinosaurs.

Biologically speaking, every single bird species alive today is a direct descendant of dinosaurs. Birds are classified by scientists as avian theropod dinosaurs, meaning they belong to the same broad group that includes the Tyrannosaurus rex and Velociraptor, rather than just being external descendants.

The first birds were created on day 5.
The first things that everyone would have agreed are dinosaurs were created on day 6.

So then ostriches aren’t birds?

Ostriches are birds.

Dinosaurs are not ostriches.

Correct, not what i was implying though. You believe dinosaurs aren’t birds since some dinosaurs can’t fly, birds and fish were created on the 5th day whereas land animals and humans were made on the 6th. So i brought up ostriches due to them being flightless birds which therefore means they would be created on the 6th day. Dinosaurs are birds just because a bird doesn’t fly doesn’t mean it’s not a bird.

Dinosaurs are reptiles, not birds.

A giant part of the human population doesnt even believe in dinosaurs in the first place, so no, the first things that everyone would have agreed are dinosaurs were not created on day 6.

Additionally, the likelihood of God making everything on what we consider to be days in modern time is very unlikely. God very likely has His own sense of time, and days could mean anywhere from decades to ma [mega-annum].

If someone who does not believe in dinosaurs saw a dinosaur, then they would start believing in dinosaurs.

The days in Genesis 1 had evening, morning and night, which implies that they were literal days.

people can fly in a plane and see the curvature of the earth yet still say it’s flat. People can look up at the sun and call it a false sun created by the government to send out radiation that turns people gay

When I said "everyone," I did not mean literaly everyone.

then why’d you say everyone

It was not literal.

should have clarified that

Genesis itself describes the sun, moon, and stars as being made on day 4.

So if “day” means a normal Earth day in the modern astronomical sense, what exactly is defining a 24-hour day before the Sun is introduced?

Some unknowable, hypothetical timer that God mentally established? Or something else entirely?

The earth's rotation relative to light that was created before the sun allowed the days to pass before the sun was created.

But that's an interpretation, not something the text actually tells us. Genesis never says “the Earth rotated relative to the light, producing 24-hour days.” You're supplying that mechanism to make the literal-24-hour interpretation work. The existence of evening and morning establishes a light/dark cycle in the narrative, but it doesn't by itself establish that those cycles were exactly 24 modern hours long. Additionally, days have become increasingly longer as time goes on in an observable sense to humans. In early earth, rotation cycles lasted roughly 10 hours. The only other explanation that I can think of is God imagining, perfecting, creating, and destroying in units of time that are faster than our current knowledge of time itself.

The length of a mean solar day changes so slowly that it has not increased by much since solar days started.

Hypothetically days could be even longer than ma but I'd like to not ponder on that.

The King James version of Mark 10:6 says “But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.”
If the days in Genesis had been long ages, then the humans that Jesus said were made male and female were not around soon after the beginning of the creation.

then why do they share DNA with apes

Because they share a common designer.

How do you know that birds are dinosaurs?
0 ups, 6d,

Dna, bone structure, and some fossils literally having feathers
0 ups, 6d,

Dinosaurs had genetic and skeletal similarities to birds because they shared a common designer. No dinosaur fossil has been confirmed to have feathers.

have a gn
0 ups, 6d
they’ve literally found dinosaur fossils with fossilized feathers in them
0 ups, 6d
and with that logic wouldn’t dinosaurs and birds be the same if they had a common ancestor due to that common ancestor being created by god not evolving from a group of cells
