I heard that people actually keep spiders like Huntsman around for pest control.

I don't know if they do but they don't have potent enough venom to kill a humans and judging by the name huntsman spider I assume they are great hunters

No. Huntsman are very timid creatures they'd rather flee than bite. On the rare occasion that they do bite, their bites are the equivalent of a bee sting in terms of pain and their venom does very little making it basically harmless. The spider that does have that kind of power to kill humans are the Sydney Funnel Web Spiders. These spiders are highly venomous and unlike most spiders who are timid, these f**kers will basically fight you head on. The males of the Sydney Funnel Web species carry 6 times more potent venom than the females. Sydney Funnel Web bites kill humans in under 15 Minutes and their fangs can puncture shoe leather. Funny thing is though is that Sydney Funnel Webs haven't caused a fatality since 1981 because of the anti venom created to counteract the bites from these guys.

I haven't even mentioned that scientists have discovered a bigger Sydney Funnel Web. A regular one grows up to 2 inches which is f**king huge in it's own right. The new one grows up to at least 4 inches and just like the Sydney Funnel Web, the males are the ones packing the execution juice dishing out 5 to 6 times more potent poison than the females. Now, what did scientists name this spider? New Castle Big Boy. Yes, a super sized version of the most dangerous spider on the globe is named Big Boy.
