testiment=covenant
old covenant=shows that people only fall short of the standard.
new covenant=gives grace to those who know the old standard and that they cant follow it perfectly. ( Jesus also fulfilled the old covenant during his life making him the first and only human to do it, and without meeting it he could not die for all people, past, present, and future.)
