Dang you've been to the sacred land? 🤝 we actually have Öskjuhlíð in the middle of Reykjavík and Heiðmörk just outside Kópavogur for instance... then there are some forests outside the capital zone
I spent a great day wandering around in Þórsmörk and other places like Þingvellir National Park and the Blue lagoon (It didn't make me any younger as promised) 😁
It was one of the best experiences I've ever had
I did a walking holiday of Soutern Iceland back in 1998
