Houston, we have a problem.
I am seeing so many AI-generated images, posts, and videos on Imgflip, YouTube, TikTok, Fandom, Snapchat, X (Twitter), etc. that people are saying that AI will take over the world, when it’s actually a technology tool. AI haters say that Korean-Pop Demon Hunters is made with artificial intelligence, but it’s just non-AI CGI. Even users on this platform, Imgflip, are posting “AI SLOP DETECTED” memes with the Impact font in all-caps on the top with Captain Underpants screaming. To make matters worse, many artists moved from making real art to letting artificial intelligence make it, and the art is worse and sloppy than real art from Bob Ross. I agree with all of you that AI should not have existed in the first place, as it makes so many mistakes, sometimes on purpose.
