Due to my Asperger's, I was treated like a brainless retard at best, and a godless lunatic at worst throughout my childhood. Rightfully so for the latter, to be fair. I did have a particularly ugly episode in early 2009 that landed me in an asylum for nine days. I do not appreciate my suffering being downplayed.

I’m autistic, and I agree it drives me crazy, I hate it when kids have said that I don’t actually have autism, they also treat it like a disease! A kid once said “don’t get to close ti him or you’ll catch autism!” It’s really depressing since they didn’t understand what it’s like
