With that in mind, x is the first number (in this case, -98), and x is how far in the west/east (left/right) direction you are from the starting point, so -98 would be 98 blocks to the west (left), and if x is 98, you are 98 blocks to the east (right). The y coordinates, in the middle, represent how far you are in the north/south (forwards/backwards) direction, so if y is 34, you are 34 blocks north (forwards), and if y is -34, you are 34 blocks south (backwards). And the last numbers, which is the z-axis, simply represents up and down, so if z is 9, you are 9 blocks upwards, and if z is -9, you are 9 blocks downwards.
