Not to put you down or anything but sharks rarely actually attack humans

True, but it does happen. I believe that during WW2, pilots getting killed by sharks after using their ejector seats was such an issue that they put shark repellent in the seats. But then again, on the other hand, I could be completely mistaken.

Sharks can't really see so they might have confused them for seals, which sharks eat a lot
