I mean he did OD but at least he tried to combat his addiction to other drugs before that, but I still think even if he was about to die because of an overdose, derek Chauvin’s actions were still unnecessary

Floyd was looking at his third strike. He did OD. The cops could have saved his life if he had told them what he took. The first autopsy report supported the OD. The judge refused to allow into evidence the police training manual proving Chauvin went by the book. Not a good look for the PD department. Of course, the training manual was excessive, but Chauvin did what they trained him to do. And of course, the ruling establishment got what they wanted... riots.
