My Bombay put a plastic grocery bag on top of his poop in the box once which caused the turd to stick to the bottom of the box. Also if a dingleberry falls from their butt or it goes over the side of box or if my Bombay vertical pees in the one box to claim that one as his and it goes over the side onto the bathroom floor my giant cat will get used tissues from the trash can to "bury" it or kick half of the litter out of the box onto the floor which makes it harder to clean when it's pee. The Angora insists my giant cat bury his turds and pee for him and sometimes looks at me like I should bury it. He can get dingleberries which he will either bury with whatever he can find nearby including invisible dirt. He pretends to bury turds, vomit, hairballs and food with invisible dirt or a cat toy or store receipt in the bowl or a sock. Before we got them the fountain he put one of my bras in his water bowl. I've see a shish kabob of turds on one of my hairs draped over the box and dangling from their butts and some cats will steal toothbrushes and multiple things to bury in their litter boxes. One of my freshly washed socks buried a turd in the box once that I was in the midst of folding but left the room. We have multiple boxes. I've seen gifs of cats doing what the cartoon cat is here and it's because they are turds. This is tame compared to mine.
