Dude if it makes you feel any better the same person goes over the anime stream and continuously tries to say "i like anime, but, but.... I'm not a weeb I'm different" no matter how many times I'd like to describe the fact that technically the term weeb has been changed because for example "weeaboo" is something that's generally considered bad within the anime community because that just means that you're not only obsessed with anime but Japanese culture to the point where it's weird and from what I can gather whenever somebody says they're a "weeb" online these days they just mean they're super obsessed with anime, which is not as bad, and they keep saying stuff like oh I'm an otaku not a weeb! And I'm like bro otaku just means nerd in Japanese, and regardless otaku and weeb are already two really weird words to say in front of non-anime fans in the first place. Genuinely I don't think it matters as long as you don't start calling yourself a weeaboo. Yet they try so hard to continuously push the message that it's like some sort of heinous crime
