During a federal raid on Sean "Diddy" Combs' residences in March 2024, authorities seized over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant, along with firearms, narcotics, and other items. These were reportedly used in events termed "Freak Offs," which prosecutors describe as elaborate, multi-day sex parties involving coercion, drug use, and abuse. Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges including sex trafficking and racketeering.
Combs' attorney, Marc Agnifilo, addressed the large quantity of baby oil by suggesting it resulted from bulk purchasing habits, noting that Combs owns large homes and might shop at wholesale retailers like Costco. Agnifilo expressed skepticism about the reported number, stating, "I don't think it was 1,000. I think it was a lot," and questioned the relevance of the baby oil to the charges.
The trial is ongoing, with prosecutors presenting evidence and witness testimonies alleging a pattern of abuse and coercion. Combs' legal team continues to contest the charges, maintaining that the activities were consensual.
