Meaning 1 the lore meaning: the world was filled with high rankers and rich people gaining glory off of those working hard and that they'll never be punished.

Meaning 2 the reflection: it's one of few stories in bossfights where characters have zero powers and everyone is at the same level surviving off of luck and skill
