My mom has an easier time catching bugs and spiders with toilet paper since I just can't but I have three cats who alert me to bugs, spiders or centipedes but will also catch, kill then consume them often. They especially enjoy centipedes. My one cat ate one and was trying to nudge its legs out from between his teeth. I'm thinking eww but yeah cats are great at this.

True that they can do very little harm to people aside from the heart attack many people likely have when they see these atrocities moving along. Giant desert centipedes inflict very painful bites but venom isn't severe. They just look otherworldly and I personally don't care for most bugs or any spiders. Millipedes don't bother me so much but centipedes chill me to the bone. Some freak out over snakes whereas I'd prefer to have a 10 foot python in my place loose than this thing but I enjoy reptiles. Depends on the person. My cats enjoy centipedes too but more for chases, catch then consume.
