True from our perspective but from the cat's perspective it was a smack on the hand to be a jerk to the baby. This cat looks like a Turkish Van or maybe a mix of a Turkish Van and Turkish Angora. As someone who had a Turkish Van that lived 19 years, they take tantrums when they don't get their way which is hilarious and they're very emotionally expressive in all ways. Their tantrums are hilarious and yes many individual cats will do this but this is a typical thing with many Vans plus they love swimming. Angoras on the other hand are just an open lunatic asylum. Highly emotional as well but don't tend to take tantrums but just act like they're schizophrenic. I have an Angora currently. Got both by accident since I never picked by breed but if you like mischief, highly intelligent, manipulative, tyrannical, life of the party, attention seeking, chatty, very emotional lunatic that are also very dedicated like dogs then you'd love these clown breeds.
