I did this with my old fish (HE'S STILL ALIVE BUT WITH MY AUNT IN VA), Cosmos, and he got so used to seeing N that he would wait for the visit every day and now my aunt says she had to print a picture of my plush or he won't eat. Goober loves the fish.
