if you keep the metal thing on the side on the nade than it will not go off just put the pin back in
(this is a real fact too a grenade isn't hot and ready once you pull the pin you also have to let the side piece flies off (it's also known as the lever so just keep it on, put the pin back in, everyone should be safe.)
