I never understood how exactly do they kill creativity since pretty much almost everyone in my class were creative. One time in art class we were making shapes of colors and had to make something symetrical so it resembles something. There was 1 smart girl who was studying much but just at this time, she wasn't feeling much creative, or maybe she was lazy a bit, made the simplest while I did one of the best artwork at that time. I was above mid at studying and now I think do schools really kill creativity or maybe there's something else? Maybe being on Phone all day and complain how schools kill your sleep time because
you were on phone till midnight?
Normally I like school and stuff, but even some teachers agree that grades don't always decide whenever you're gonna be good at job or not. There's a friend of mine who wanted to be mechanic but had bad grades and yet he built himself a motor just because he was interested in that. Some 'smart' kids study just to get good grades and throw away whatever they just learned, forgetting next week. I conclude that we should find balance between knowledge and experience and whatever suits you the best.
