Well then, yeah. I have something similar to the talking bear. You’ve probably heard it as the furby, and not many people are fans of that.

But yeah, even I haven’t heard of Teddy Ruxpin until now, until I looked it up.

Teddy came first. In 1985 he use tapes. I prefer tapes since I had one myself

I consider the Furby as an inspiration from Teddy. Teddy was first and he was able to do most of the things the Furby was able to.

For an example, Teddy could already interact with some toys, his eyes moved, and he spoke. Furby also did this, but it didn't read stories. Whether or not Furby was inspired by Teddy I don't know. But, that's just my opinion.
