One of my side quests involves me solving 243 riddles in order to defeat The Riddler

that's a very specific number

I dunno

I'm gonna 100% Arkham City (the only Arkham game I haven't got 100%) after this

Which has a way smaller map, but for some reason

do you have to fetch an item in response to a riddle or do you straight up solve it

There's multiple kinds of riddles

Most of them are Riddler Trophies, which you can find either by exploring or through puzzles

There's actual riddles

Where you are given a riddle and have to scan whatever matches it

Destroyables

Where you have to destroy certain objects like balloons or security cameras

And for Arkham City exclusively, Riddler Challenges

Where you have to do certain things in order to complete the challenge, like glide kick 5 enemies

This is the Arkham City compared to Arkham Knight

There were these blocks of dark matter
If you touched them they disassembled Mario at the atomic level.
This game has the most f**ked up deaths in the Mario franchise

It probably hurts a bit

I think it feels like a pillow

and I don't believe that Mario just disappears, I imagine that he gets reassembled inside some weird alternate void dimension or smth

There's also the death where he gets sucked into a black hole and disappears in a cloud of red smoke

and the one where Mario sinks into the lake of poison and reaches for help as he chokes on the poisonous sludge and it fills his lungs and you hear his muffled cries of panic

Speaking of powerups there's one called the Spring Mushroom
Guess what it does

does it turn him into a spring

Correct! It wraps a spring around him and restricts his movement to only timed bounces

that looks uncomfortable
but then again there's evidently worse things that could happen to him

I just find it funny because all the other powerups are so cool
The Boo Mushroom makes him a Boo and he can fly and go through bars
The Ice Flower turns him into an ICE SCULPTURE and he can FREEZE WATER UNDER HIS FEET AND SKATE ON IT
And then the Spring Mushroom just. Makes him cramp up

"oh sweet-a mama this is-a very uncomfortable"

Also sometimes he bounces on his head. Which can't be good for a 27 year old man's neck
