Well, ‘get rich quick’ schemes never work, but one piece of advice I’ve heard is to put all your extra money not taken by bills and taxes and put it in a Roth IRA, which slowly grows your money over time. A lot of us young people like to spend our extra cash down to the last dime partying like those 2000s pop songs and buying cheaply made designer clothing. It’s better to buy less expensive, more durable clothing and rarely party or splurge when you’re young, drive a cheap, reliable car, and you’ll be surprised by how far that can take you. When you save your extra cash and invest it wisely, it adds up.
