So... To explain her design choice I may have to yap about the lore if her creation a lil bit, and the universe in general, hope you don't mind that, you probably wanted mire lore anyways

Alright, AHEM (thankfully I explained part of the lore to a friend so I'll just copy and paste gimme a sec)

So, everything started when a really rich dude on Earth who liked science, his name ain't important for now, created the technology to make a portal to the far reaches of space, at this point in time humans hadn't really ventured into space all that much. So this portal he created was world changing.

A ton of people were sent in to colonize the new star system on the other side of the portal

The strange features about this place is that there was no actual star here, so it was less of a star system and more of a collection of planets, all of which were cold and only lit up by bioluminescent plant life and glowing rocks.

Creatively, I named this collection of planets... The System (I am uncreative, I really wanna get a better name for it)

And other strange things there was some kind of strange magic field that make it impossible to leave or enter The System without teleportation, eg that rich science man's portal.

Consequently the oxygen did not disperse in the vacuum of space, basically that means the magic field is trapping all the oxygen so the space outside of the planets has a safe atmosphere (which is my excuse for why the characters don't wear specialized space suits)

Skipping over the less important exact details of how they continued to colonize, it may have took a few years, but large sustainable human settlements were established across multiple planets, many planets had their own alien flora and fauna, the humans installed gigantic heat generating facilities connected to the core of the planets that would make the atmosphere warm enough to be comfortable, and a few planet also had the luxury of an artificial light source manufactured to orbit the planets and mimic a day and night cycle, but for most it was perpetually night.

uhh, he has both mechanical and biological parts, his conscious is comprised of his organic brain and an artificial neural network. and he also has adminspace, Which is like a reality premium type of thing.

So... Part of his brain is AI kinda?
I think I have a character sorta like that too.

her name is R0Z3, she was an AI give a partly biological body, originally designed by a space military to be a protector of their colonies, but her program was stolen and altered by their enemies and made into a murder machine
