and metroid lore isn’t dark in comparison to other sci-fi games like half-life, doom, and ultrakill

Gold and silver - villians hold hostages
Ruby and sapphire - villians trying flooding/causing a drought
Platinum - Cyrus gets pulled by giratina never to be seen again
Black and white 2 - ghetsis tries impaling you
X and Y - team flare trys killing everyone, also the ultimate weapon
Scarlet and violet - the world almost gets destroyed by the past creatures

Haven't played Pokemon that much and only know about some stuff because of ssbu but holy fuc-
