I mean, from a matter of perspective it may, if the person making it found it funny that perhaps yes, it's a matter of perspective.

But whether it's funny or not, is irrelevant to my point, there's no basis here for rudeness.

If you don't like the meme just move on, otherwise would you rather absolutely have to comment 'cringe' on every single low effort post that you don't like. Do you believe it is a good use of time to throw an uncalled-for insult when it is of benefit to absolutely no one?

you do realize youre talking to a person who has a percentage of 10% of commenting something rude on a meme, plus i actually move on when i find a meme that i dont like, i was just bored and this meme is cringe for me so i just said that, however i bet the creator is either bored too and just made a random meme or is new to imgflip and doesnt know how to make a meme funny, like my friend kitty, so basically im not rude, this is one of the 10% i comment something like that on a meme

That's just fine, but I really don't see the point in doing it at all, maybe you were never taught the phrase "if you don't have anything nice to say, you shouldn't say it", but I guess I got no real say in that. My point is, you really shouldn't try to be rude if you know it's rude regardless of how often you do it, even if you don't do it often, I'm not saying it's easy to be nice, I'm saying it's not hard to not be rude.

I know I'm making a big deal out of something that doesn't really matter and the fact that this is the internet, but it just ticks me off a little bit how people will say pointless things just because they are "bored" or "they feel like it", it's just generally unpleasant behavior even in moderation, like who WANTS to insult someone for sh!ts and giggles? I don't really get it.

okay okay okay. i know that phrase, i know its a bad behavior, but still, as you said, its the internet, theres literally no one to judge you if you do that, and by you im talking generally. i understand your explanation, but unfortunately you cant say this to all the people in imgflip, which i bet most of them wont understand or will just be against you for no reason. im 13, but i get you. tho, the "point" of doing that is simply to unleash war in the comments for no reason. that has a taste of fun, you know? i know all arguments are pointless in imgflip, but some are actually pointful like this one. however, if the meme actually sucks, no offense, all of the people in the comments would agree on the same thing, which is that the meme sucks, and will fill the comment section with insults and that stuff, but if arguments didnt exist on imgflip, it would kinda be more boring, not sure

I don't really get the fun of starting comment wars, I just see it as completely pointless, and speaking as someone who takes it upon himself to clean up the nasty conflicts that my friends often have on this site, I find it very stressful and avoid/prevent it as much as I can, and besides your point about "everyone agrees we can fill the comments with insults and such", I've seen sections like that and it REALLY makes my blood boil a bit seeing people gang up on someone for the fun of it, not even caring how they would feel... Even if the poster themselves doesn't care at all. It still comes off as very distasteful...

But yeah, it's not like I can really prevent it from happening in the first place, all I want to do is inform the few people willing to listen about why it's just the worst possible use of your time even if you are looking for entertainment. People on the internet can say whatever they want, but it also ain't gonna stop people like me from cringing at it myself from time to time... I appreciate you actually taking the time to read and be somewhat reasonable, people like you are rare y'know that?
