also dogs and most canines in general have been domesticated to the point where they literally won't attack humans unless provoked in some sort of way
for example
my family gave away a puppy that we had gotten from a litter
the puppy in question literally showed no signs of aggression beforehand
i saw the owners punish the dog in pretty cruel ways (one of the owners even threw a big ass rock on the dog's head)
after a few months, the owners returned the dog to us because it was acting too aggressive (i wonder why)
and basically the dog's been aggressive ever since
