"The Collapse is the Singularity, the source of all existence, collapsing in on itself, wiping everything out. However, it manages to keep itself stable by manifesting itself as The Beginning...this island. The Final Hours are when the stability of the Singularity goes haywire, which causes realities to crash together, before starting the Reset, where The Singularity...basically factory resets. I am the only one able to fix it as I have traces of The Singularity in me. A very, very long time ago, I was researching portals that could cross into other realities. I opened one....and I saw it, The Singularity. I touched it...and it felt like my mind was ripped apart, and put back together in a whole different way. I'm the only one who survived that out of every possible reality, other than the spider...but he only made contact with a strand of The Singularity, not the Singularity itself...I don't know why I'm the only one who can survive it...it could be something divine...or pure chance. Anyways, I can reach other realities using my abilities gained with touching The Singularity. At places where the strands of reality are vulnerable....I can almost...grab onto the fabric of reality itself, and tear it open to make a portal into another reality."
