Basically, it was a normal uranium mining mission, but this uranium was on STEROIDS, almost as if there was something supernatural about it
Unaware, they kept mining, but the severe radiation slowly started mutating all of them, but this mutation was different, they were becoming almost fish-like, they quickly laid waste to the refinery and any remaining humans
Also, after mining, earthquakes started happening, getting more violent each time
After what was discovered, a research lab was quickly set up, with a coverup of it being a station to find solutions to pollution
During one faulty experiment, the creature was let loose, and laid havoc on the station
After a few days of no response, they sent a team of divers to try to retrieve data from the station
Knowing that whoever went in there would likely die, they sent homeless people, murderers and death row inmates in exchange for money or freedom, and gave them old gear, as to not waste money
The Diver was a death row inmate, and decided to become a diver instead of death
They arrived in the station, and soon after, The Abomination attacked them. They all split off in terror, and The Diver went inside of a storage room.
Right then, an earthquake hit, in which he tripped, hit his head, and got knocked out.
He then wakes up with amnesia, unaware of the situation
