Alright folks, gather 'round, let's have a laugh,
About a time when the world went bat-crap,
World War II, oh boy, what a hoot,
Leaders acting crazy, playing the flute.
Hitler's One Ball, Mussolini's strut,
Stalin's mustache, man, what a nut,
They're playing Risk with real people's lives,
Sending soldiers off to fight beehives.
WWII, a comedy of errors supreme,
Leaders acting like clowns in a dream,
From the blitzkrieg to the island hopping spree,
A sitcom of chaos for all to see.
Churchill with his cigars, Roosevelt with his grin,
Plotting strategies over whiskey and gin,
While poor old Stalin's just killing off his friends,
In the name of Communism, where loyalty bends.
Pearl Harbor's surprise, a real knee-slapper,
Japanese pilots playing hide and seek, what a cracker,
And let's not forget the Axis powers' delusions grand,
Thinking they could rule the world, oh what a stand!
WWII, a comedy of errors supreme,
Leaders acting like clowns in a dream,
From the blitzkrieg to the island hopping spree,
A sitcom of chaos for all to see.
But amidst the chaos, heroes did arise,
Regular Joes and Janes, what a surprise,
Fighting back against the madness with all their might,
Turning the tide, making wrongs right.
And so the war raged on, a slapstick affair,
With bombs, bullets, and mustache hair,
But in the end, the good guys won the day,
And the Axis leaders, well, they had to pay.
So here's to WWII, a comedy of sorts,
Where history's lessons come in short retorts,
Let's learn from the past, but never forget,
That even in darkness, laughter can beget.
