Immediately, the Octoling took the baby with her, and took the baby to her group, and the baby spent five years with the group, going outside to Inkopolis during the day to meet the locals, and at night to stargaze, the child learns about how interacting with others and what's special about the midnight sky and why everyone favors it. One day after five years, the group gets hit by chloroform gas, but the child managed to escape by crawling under the gas fast enough, only to discover a large squad of Elite Octolings waiting to nab him. They failed and the child ran, and ran and ran until he found a skeleton with an odd "Ink gun". The child picked the gun up and fired, only for there to be a loud bang, a strong kick, smoke pouring from the barrel, and no traces of ink that he expected. One of the elite Octolings fell backwards dead, and the body stayed there, motionless, lifeless. The boy felt guilty for some reason, until he realized the weight of the situation, and ran as the other Octolings stayed away from him. The boy kept running until he reached a subway station, forgetting the weapon was still firmly in his hand as he fled, and cried himself to sleep. When he woke, there was a man in a blue hazmat suit who talked to the boy, but the boy couldn't understand the man, but agreed to stay with the man for a while. The man picked the boy up like the boy was his own child. The man taught the boy how to read, how to speak multiple languages and how to understand them, and most importantly, how to parkour around most things. When the boy was seven, the man took him to a place called Harran, where the boy learned that sometimes spilling blood of someone else is often required for the safety of others. He also learned how to move more effectively and how to find solutions to get around blocks in paths. The man took care of the boy like his own son. Eventually, the boy signed up for the CVPA Training Division, where when he was ready for the real fights, he would be sent when he was of age.
