It seems like Dodge is trying to keep muscle cars alive and I wouldn’t be surprised if there ‘happens’ to be room for a V8 swap, seems like a Dodge thing to do.

But I bet it’ll accommodate SOME HEMI V8 with a few modifications, whether it’s a 345(R/T), a 392(Scat Pack), or a 376(Hellcat). Also there are some other crate engines you can get from Direct Connection that might not fit in the new Charger but would fit in other modern Stellantis muscle cars, there’s even a 1000HP supercharged 426 and a 1500HP supercharged 426 that might fit in a Challenger (or an older muscle car of course)
