Brutes have basically bulletproof flesh, but have a weakspot on their back

Blindeds can run about 30 mph, but in short bursts, they're blind, but they have such insane hearing that if they're close enough, they can sense your heartbeat if it's too fast

Well the Brutes have a mutation, which gives them enough brain power to remember how to use a melee weapon

Will hadn't been feeling himself lately. Ever since his last adventure with Illy and others into Nexcon labs, he was feeling very sickly. Maybe it was just a cold...but colds don't usually involve boils under the skin.

2 weeks after the adventure, Mr and Lian were going to have a sort of 'get well soon' party to cheer him up. There was cake, peanut butter flavored. Decorations set up, all while Will was asleep.

When it was all ready, Lian went to wake up Will. The lights were off, per Will's request, which made it hard to see. There was a growling...a painful, high-pitched growling.

"W.....Will....?"

*quiet raspy whisper* "..my throat hurts... it's been three months or so since I've talked.. three days without water.. and I swallowed some sand by mistake.."

"...I don't even know... I started off near my home in (somewhere in America).. and I've just.. roamed since then.

"Yeah, I think a worm got infected by The Skinned, and....it's like..skyscraper sized. Long story."

*he shrugged, then sort of rubbed the massive scar on his face*

"..I think I rigged a busted car to explode when I shot it.. it worked, but a piece of hot metal hit me in the face."
