HELP WANTED 2 AND TALES OF THE PIZZAPLEX SPOILERS AHEAD:

*Also I haven't personally read the FNAF books so any information gathered that I talk about was mainly gained from wiki pages, so feel free to correct me on anything I get wrong ^^*

First time poster but LONG time FNAF theorizer here!

I just finished the Princess Quest ending and collected the hidden Bonnie mask and immediately felt the need to talk about this. I saw that a lot of people believe the Bonnie mask confirms that we are officially playing as Cassie's dad. And I 100% agree. We're clearly playing as a technician and references from Ruin seem to tie to things that Cassie's dad used, such as the "familiar" Fazwrench. But then that got me thinking to what Moon and Baby kept saying throughout the game.

"What makes you so special?"

We're more than likely playing as Cassie's dad... but I don't think we're playing as a random technician. Why would the animatronics think of a random employee as "special"?

So, here is the theory I'd like to submit to all of you:

We're not only playing as Cassie's father... but we're playing as Edwin Murray, the creator of the Mimic.

Here's some of the stuff I've found that has brought me to this conclusion:

In Security Breach we have the room full of sticky notes... except they aren't sticky notes, it's construction paper. It's the same room described in the books where Edwin died, so at the very least he's been in the Pizzaplex.
Speaking of sticky notes, Edwin (in the books) gave his son and the Mimic sticky notes to mess with. That's why some of the drawings on the notes in the game are children's drawings and some of them are binary code, the Mimic was learning.
(In the books) Edwin had to sell his house and live in a previously purchased abandoned factory. I think in the game, he was living in parts of the Pizzaplex. That's why some of the random rooms looked lived in.
The code in the hidden "Michael Room" is a series of triangles on triangles. This is mentioned in the books as something that Edwin wrote out.
Plus, you know, the Mimic is here and thriving after all :3
So this shows that more than likely Edwin at the very least was present in the Pizzaplex at some point. But how does that tie us to the game and being Cassie's dad?

Cassie mentioned that her father collected a lot of old Fazbear memorabilia and that he had been a fan for years. According to the books, Edwin is 64 years old while working in the Pizzaplex. Seems like someone who would like

like nostalgic memorabilia of their workplace.
Cassie mentioned having been on the Foxy log ride, yet it had been closed down before anyone else could ride it. Who else but one of the technicians could give their daughter a special sneak peek? Plus (in the books) Edwin had also been working on a "pirate foxy". Much like the one from the ride.
In the books, I think the story Nexie, they talk about a warehouse that only certain technicians know about where they teach endos. And what is one of the game modes in Help Wanted 2?
In Storyteller, they talk about the AI they used in the Pizzaplex that ended up bringing out the worst sides of the animatronics. One being how violent it made Monty. I think this is what caused Monty to lash out at Bonnie. What does this have to do with Edwin? Remember Cassie's dad's favorite animatronic? In the books, Edwin attacked the Mimic while working on a Bonnie animatronic. So what better way to get back at him then destroy his favorite animatronic?
I also believe Edwin created the MXES program as well, to contain the Mimic that HE created. Which is why the computer program is a blue bunny, another reference to his favorite animatronic. (Also, E standing for "Edwin" maybe?.... probably not but I thought I'd throw it in there XD)
(This one's a stretch but I want to throw it in here for fun.) Roxanne has stripes on her face that kind of make her look like a white tiger, in reference to Edwin's son's favorite plush from the books. Like I said, a stretch XD But even then, with Roxanne being Cassie's favorite, it makes sense why she was one of the security nodes. He never thought she would deactivate her favorite animatronics.
So, what do you guys think? I know it has a LOT of holes in this theory, but it was fun to think about either way. If anything, I feel that us playing as Edwin makes sense as to why we are considered "special". We are the creator of the Mimic.
