Chapter 5: the filler chapter so everyone knows what happens

LAST TIME ON THIS STUPID STORY!
Matt and his crew has been transported to another timeline where they are being hunted down! they meet the head of the government and beat the absolute shit out of him before leaving! what would happen next? Find out right now because I'm tired and I want to get this bit over with

Matt and Eren run outside to see Spark, Mercury, and Violet waiting for them
Spark: where were you guys? What took so long?
Matt: We had to jump the head of the government
Spark: oh dang.
Eren: yeah I know right? i think he'll be out for a while. we should go
They all head towards a small abandoned house. Matt sets down Violet's body on the bed and waits for her to wake up
Matt: how much did they drug her?
Spark: too much for her own good. I hope she's okay?
Matt: Only time will tell...

Suddenly another portal opened. Matt braced himself for whoever arrived, it could be anyone, an ally, an enemy, but no. it was one brave little warrior who traveled across space and time to see his owners
Confetti: ARF!
A pomeranian pops through the portable, making Spark squeal in joy
Spark: confetti!!!
he says as he hugs and pets Confetti, who barks happily.
Matt: ...did the dog just travel through timelines?
Eren: I think it did...
Confetti then rushes up to Violet's body and barks loudly, waking her up
Violet: Matt is something wrong?!
She quickly calms down after seeing confetti, who she pets immediately
Violet: aww... you woke me up, boy!
She then looks around to see Matt, Eren, and Mercury
Violet: oh! Matt! Eren! ...Eren's girlfriend?
Mercury sighs and holds up a sign with her name
Violet: oh right, Mercury. You're all here!
Confetti barks loudly and happily as he sits on Violets lap
Matt: yeah. this place is going to be our shelter for a while. we have to make sure the government doesn't spot us.
Eren: cool ima nap
She says as she falls onto the couch
Spark: wait Matt... if Confetti could get here, what is someone else who's hunting us could?
Matt: Oh come on, that will never happen

Meanwhile at the government's base, Jowl walks towards a portal as a man with bandages and a bowler hat walks out, tapping his cane as he walks
???: Who sent me here?
Jowl: Hello, I'm the head of the government. I take it you've been hunting the god of war vessel?
???: Correct. I am The Judge. What can I do for you?
Jowl: Well the vessel and his gang have made it to this timeline, and we need you to hunt them down
The Judge: I see... what's in it for me? I don't do this for free.
Jowl: ...guards?
the guards walk up and hold up a briefcase full of money
The judge: Deal. Time limit?
Jowl: take all the time in the world. oh, and make sure he's alive
The Judge: *sighs* of course that's the catch...
He walks off without another word. one of the guards ask Jowl
Guard: Hey sir? Why that guy? What's so special about him?
Jowl: don't worry, he's untouchable
