Erm aktually the musical Hamilton is based off of the life of Alexander Hamilton who did not participate in the Boston tea party, which took place in 1773. In the second song of Hamilton, it specifically mentions that the musical started in 1781, so the tea party didn’t even happen during the events of the musical.
